WEST TEXAS SCI GIVES SECOND GRANT TO ECO DEFENSE GROUP

For Immediate Release

Safari Club International West Texas Chapter issued a grant to Eco Defense Group for the second year in a row in 2021.

A hunting group from West Texas was also generous enough to join the Eco team in South Africa to deliver vital goods to a group of Rangers being trained by the organization.

“This was the first time any such group has come to meet the Rangers they supported. The rangers were incredibly grateful for the support and enthusiastic about the visit. It’s ideal for sponsors like West Texas SCI to come to the frontlines to see firsthand where their money goes with our organization,” says Eco president Nathan Edmondson.

The hunting conservation chapter invested specifically in a campaign to provide rangers with badly needed lights and low-light capabilities for their patrols and to stop poachers at night.

Eco Defense Group is proud to be a partner to West Texas SCI and will continue to join the dialogue and mission to work with the chapter to keep African wildlife safe as the rhino, elephant, lion and more face ongoing poaching threats.
